About UsB.R.A.V.E. is a peer led violence prevention youth council designed to cultivate and develop young people into leaders and agents of social justice. The B.R.A.V.E. youth leaders are between the ages of 14-21. Youth in the program are exposed to a number of exclusive opportunities throughout the year including: community service projects, youth retreats, social gatherings, and professional development.

B.R.A.V.E. youth leaders learn how to be a leader and peacemaker in their communities. They learn about about policy, social justice, how their neighborhood works and civic leadership. Over the past nine years, they have devoted their time, talents, and efforts to stopping the gun violence the plagues not only the city of Chicago, but our entire nation.

To advocate and create peace throughout our communities. To recognize the vital role young people play in advocating for change in our community and fostering their growth. BRAVE continues to do whatever is necessary to ensure the safety of their fellow Chicago youth.

During this Press Conference, Brave youth leaders Teyonna, Tre and Anthony were able to speak along side Father Pfleger. This Press Conference is one of many rallies and demonstrations that B.R.A.V.E has in order to stand against the violence in the communities.
